Cerebral palsy - genetic aspects of pathogenesis

Cerebral palsy is a complex of polyetiologic syndromes that appear as a result of the influence of various factors on the central nervous system at the perinatal period. The polymorphic variants of particular genes may play the role of risk factors for cerebral palsy. This review is concentrated on examination of genetic predisposition to cerebral palsy.
