Nutritional assessment of premature infants according to the survey of parents

The gold standard for the feeding of infant is breastfeeding and it's nondependent of gestation. Most premature infants are underweight. The main part weight gain in preterm babies make up proteins. The substrate for the feeding of such children is enriched breast milk. There is recommended to use infant formula if a breast milk is not available. The survey showed that the majority of premature infants are breastfed. The most common cause of the transition to artificial feeding is the lack or absence of breast milk. Mothers choosing infant formula due to the presence of nutrients rather than protein.
