Problems and perspectives of application of art-therapy in social work

The historical stages of development of the "art-therapy" method are considered. The authors define art- therapy as a method of treatment and correction, as well as a way of developing certain personal qualities, including creative abilities and skills of communication. Practical aspects of using of art- therapy in work with various clients are presented. The possibilities of using art therapy in the work of specialists in social work are grounded.
