Actual problems of moral and patriotic education of young people in Russia: past and present

The article attempts to identify the key problems of moral and patriotic education of young people in our country in the imperial period, in the era of the USSR and at the present stage. The authors draw a conclusion about the main trends that affect the patriotic education of students, based both on the experience of the past and on their own pedagogical experience.
