The article is the first stage of a large psychological and pedagogical research on the problems of spiritual and moral education of Medical University students using game methods and methods of teaching history. The article analyzes the results of a study of the effectiveness of the use of gaming technologies conducted in the 2020/2021 academic year on students of the Ural State Medical University. The authors conclude that the intensity of the use of gaming technologies directly depends on the basic level of students, give practical recommendations on the use of gaming and interactive techniques in teaching history.
