TOPICAL ISSUES OF PROVIDING MEDICAL CARE TO VETERANS IN THE SVERDLOVSK REGION

The article presents an analysis of the organization of medical care for war veterans in the Sverdlovsk region. In 2020, the share of hospitalizations decreased by 24.2% due to the reprofiling of medical organizations to provide care to patients with COVID-19. In 2020, the coverage of planned hospitalization in GAUZ SO "SOKP GVV" remained at the same level; the proportion of veterans treated among older categories has decreased and there has been an increase in the number of referrals for combatants. In order to increase the availability of medical care, since 2021 the Ministry of Health of the region has organized the appointment of responsible doctors for working with veterans in medical organizations at the place of residence.
