Options for surgical removal of various defects in the distal parts of the nose

This article discusses the historical aspects of forehead flap nasal reconstruction. The nasal tip reconstruc-tion was performed on 44 patients. In 4 cases the composite otis cutaneo-cartilaginous flaps, in 18 cases – chick flaps, in 22 cases- forehead flaps has been used. The technique for coverage of the defect has been used due to localization, size and cause of deformation.
