PSYCHOCORRECTION OF COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT IN PATIENTS WHO HAVE UNDERGONE CHEMOTHERAPY

The article describes the results in comparing the questionnaire of patients before and after the correctional program. Patients note such manifestations as memory loss, difficulty concentrating and switching attention, impaired counting, writing, difficulty expressing and formulating their own thoughts, difficulty understanding other people's speech and conversation. A special psychocorrection program is described, the purpose of which is to correct and develop the intellectual and creative potential of the personality of patients who have undergone chemotherapy through a system of correctional and developmental classes. The obtained data of repeated questioning are described, which allow us to judge that after passing the psychocorrection program, most of the respondents note an improvement in their overall level of mental activity and performance, in particular, memory and attention processes.
