PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING OF FIRST-YEAR MEDICAL STUDENTS

This article is aimed at identifying the level of psychological well-being of first-year university students. This problem is caused by a number of reasons - low academic achievements of students of this category, weak activity of integration into the educational process, insufficient social initiative, etc. the results of surveys have shown that first-year students mainly present an average level of psychological well-being, there is no high level, a small part of students experience a low level, which indicates the need for a system of prevention of psychological well-being of first-year students, which will optimise the process of adaptation of students to the educational environment of the university and will have a positive impact on academic performance.
